Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Recruitment 2016 – Teaching & Non Teaching Posts: Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt of India, Indian Sign Language Research and Trainig Centre (ISLRTC), New Delhi has issued a notification for the recruitment of Associate Professor, Assistant Professor & Senior PA and Master Trainer vacancies on direct recruitment basis. 1. Associate Professor Interpreting: 01 Post
2. Associate Professor Interpreting (Educational): 01 Post
3. Associate Professor Sign Linguistics (Deaf Studies): 01 Post
4. Assistant Professor Interpreting: 02 Posts
5. Senior PA: 01 Post
6. Master Trainer (Deaf): 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be below 45 years for Post No. 01 to 03, 40 years for Post No. 04 and 35 years for Post No. 05 & 06 as on 01-08-2016. Relaxation of age will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess MA in Linguistics/ Translation Studies and Doctorate Degree (Ph.D) in any related field of Linguistics/ Sign Linguistics/ Interpreting or Translation Studies for Post No. 01, M.Ed in Special Education (Hearing Impairment) and B.Ed (H.I) plus Master in any discipline & Doctorate Degree (Ph.D) in the area of Deaf Education for Post No. 02, M.Ed in Special Education (Hearing Impairment) & Doctorate Degree (Ph.D) in the area of Deaf Education for Post No. 03 with good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks of an equivalent grade in a point scale where grading systeam is followed & Other qualification details refer the notification.
