The Kanpur Municipal Corporation has recently published a public notification to appoint ‘Safai Karamchari’ or a cleaning staff for the region of Kanpur. Eligibility Criteria

There are certain eligibility criteria that candidates need to look after. The list of eligibility criteria is divided into 3 different sections. They are:

1. Nationality- The candidate should be a citizen of India, or should be any one of the following:

• Subject of Bhutan


• Subject of Nepal


• An Indian-origin person who previously belonged from Indian Sub-continent or East Africa and now resides in India permanently

2. Educational Qualification- Candidates are not required to possess higher qualification for this post. A Government recognized passing certificate of Class X is enough to qualify a candidate under this category.


3. Age Limit- This is the most important eligibility criteria for the candidates. The age of the applicant should be in between 18 years to 40 years as on 01/ 01/ 2016.

Considering the above mentioned eligibility criteria, it is mandatory for candidates to satisfy the above mentioned conditions. Failing to do so will automatically disqualify them.

Step 2- Fill up the application form and paste a recent color passport size photograph. The form should also be accompanied with other necessary documents such as a copy of voter ID card.
