1. Physics: 11 Posts
2. Geophysics/ Applied Geology: 04 Posts

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age should be 25 years as on 01-07-2016.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M.Sc/ M.Sc (Tech.) in Physics/ Atmospheric Physics/ Space Physics/ Geophysics/ Applied Geology/ Applied Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks throughout and Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics as a subject in B.Sc.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written test & personal interview.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.iigm.res.in & send their print out of online application along with all up-loaded documents & envelope should be superscribed with “Application for JRF” should reach to Admin. Co-ordinator, Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, Plot-5, Sector 18, Near Kalamboli Highway, New Panvel (W), Navi Mumbai, 410218 by post on or before 15-06-2016.

Eligible candidates may apply in prescribed application format on or before 11-07-2016. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process & how to apply are given below…

IIGM Vacancy Details:
Total No.of Posts: 01
Name of the Post: Registrar

Age Limit: Candidates maximum age should be 45 years. Age relaxation up to 5 years may be considered for highly experienced & deserving candidates at the discretion of the appropriate authorities as per Government of India Rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess First class or high second class degree from a recognized University with good academic record or Master’s Degree in Management or Law Degree with relevant experience.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.

Application Form: Application Form can be obtained from the office of the Director, IIG, by payment of Rs. 300/- by Crossed Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 300/- in the form of Crossed Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, New Panvel
