Where can I fill UPSC CDS Application Form 2016?
The application form for CDS Exam can be filed in the official website of UPSC. For the purpose of registration, the authority has reserved a special portal where candidates can start their online application instantly and be done with the same in a matter of few minutes.
What documents are required?
For filling up the CDS online application form, a candidate is required to be ready with 3 essential documents as listed below:
- A scanned copy of candidate’s signature within the file size of 1 kb to 40 kb
- A scanned copy of candidate’s passport size photograph within the file size of 3 kb to 40 kb.
- An access to make online payments through Credit/ Debit Card, Net Banking, etc.
How to file online UPSC CDS Application Form 2016?
The filing process is extremely easy. All that a candidate has to do is follow the below mentioned steps.
Step 1- Visit the linkThe first thing is to visit the official website of UPSC where online registration is being facilitated. A candidate needs to visit: www.upsconline.nic.in <http://www.upsconline.nic.in>.
Step 2- Click on ‘Application for Various Exams’
On visiting the page, the candidate would have two set of information present on the window. The first link will be in respect of online application and the second link will be in respect of online recruitment. You are required to select the first option.
Step 3- Part I Registration
The click will take you to a new page where you are required to click right below the box which says ‘Part I Registration’. As soon as you click on the box, you will be redirected to a new page where you would be required to scroll down and click on Yes.
Step 4- Fill up the details and click on ‘I Agree’
You will now be having a fresh page where you would be required to enter your basic details. Fill up the form and click on ‘I Agree’ to complete Part I Registration. In return, you would get an email with your registration number.
Step 5- Part II Registration
Now return to Part II registration and begin the same by entering your registration number and date of birth. Then upload your scanned signature and photograph along with other details. In the end move on to the section which says make payment.
Step 6- Make Payment
Finally, make payment online or get a challan and get the amount deposited to one of the mentioned banks. Once the payment has been successfully made, you will receive a confirmation from the UPSC department that your application has been successful.
