IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2016 – Latest UptoDate
As IBPS is going to held Preliminary Exam on 26-11-2016, 27-11-2016, 03-12-2016 & 04-12-2016, the candidates should know the exam pattern OF IBPS Clerk VI Examination for preliminary and final exam. As you all know IBPS publicly issued notification to held Common Written Examinations 2016 for the recruitment of clerks. We have previously discussed the detail of notification, syllabus and eligibility criteria. But we will here talk about the IBPS CWE VI Exam Pattern.
IBPS CWE V Clerk Exam Pattern 2016
After the official notification on 12th Aug, 2016, the exam pattern has changed from one phase to two phases. Now, there are two stages/tiers of IBPS Clerk Exam 2016 i.e.
Tier I – Preliminary Examination
Tier II – Main Examination
- IBPS will shortlist the candidates on the performance of Preliminary Examination.
- The final merit list will not contain the marks of preliminary examination.
Only the final examination marks will consider for interview. (Interview has eliminated from the selection procedure)
IBPS Clerk Exam – Tier – I – Preliminary Online Exam
- English Language – 30 Questions – 30 marks
- Numerical Ability – 35 Questions – 35 Marks
- Reasoning Ability – 35 Questions – 35 Marks
Total 100 Questions – 100 Marks (Composite time of 1 Hour)
- The preliminary exam will conduct online.
- The candidates will use mouse to give their answers as the questions display on their computer screen.
- The marks obtain in preliminary exam will not consider for Final merit list. The marks will only consider to appear final examination.
- The duration of preliminary exam will be of 1 hour.
IBPS Clerk Exam – Tier –II – Final/Main Exam
Hence, IBPS has a completely dedicative Clerk exam pattern for candidates who aim to choose clerical job as their profession. The examination contains questions of 200 marks in total which is divided into five imperative sections. The five sections on which IBPS clerk examination focuses are Reasoning, English, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge.
- Reasoning – 40 Questions – 50 Marks – 30 Minutes
- English Language – 40 Questions – 40 Marks – 30 Minutes
- Quantitative Aptitude – 40 Questions – 50 Marks – 30 Minutes
- General Awareness (Related to Banking Industry) – 40 Questions – 40 Marks – 25 Minutes
- Computer Knowledge – 40 Questions – 20 Marks – 20 Minutes
Total – 200 Questions – 200 Marks – 135 Minutes
- The main exam will also conduct online.
- The candidates will use mouse to give their answers as the questions display on their computer screen.
- The marks obtain in final exam will consider to prepare merit list for final selection of the candidates.
The exam will be available in English and Hindi language.
IBPS Clerk Examination Center Rules
- The candidates must have valid call letters to enter the examination hall.
- The candidates must have Photo-identity proof in original.
- The candidates must have photocopy of photo-identity proof.
- The candidates should enter the examination hall on reporting time. After getting late of reporting time will not be permitted to take the examination.
Penalty for Wrong Answers
It should be noted that IBPS Clerk Exam III deducts certain marks as penalty every time a candidate’s answer is wrong. 0.25 marks are deducted from total score of the candidate with every wrong answer. There is no deduction for blank answers.
IBPS Clerk Exam 2016 Interview ( No Interview)
There is no interview as per the official notification of IBPS CWE Clerk Exam 2016 (VI). So there is final selection after main exam in provisional allotment in the month of April 2016.
