Uttarakhand Transport Recruitment 2016 – 300 Vacancies
The Government of Uttarakhand has recently issued a public notification inviting applicants to apply for the post of driver under the State Transport Corporation. The opportunity gives an opening to the candidate who are currently working as drivers in Uttarakhand or nearby region. However, there will be a selection process for the candidates through which only the best 300 would be selected from the list of applicants.
Vacancy Details
There are three sections where selected candidates would be given a job. They are Dehradun, Nainital and Tanakpur. The complete list of requirement is give below:

Remuneration Details
Each successful candidate would be selected on the basis of his performance in the selection process. Upon selection he shall be entitled to receive a monthly remuneration of INR 5,200 – 20,200. The increment would be based on the grade pay of INR 1,900.
Eligibility Criteria
There are certain eligibility criteria which every candidate must fulfil before making an application for the post. Some of the key areas are discussed below:
1) Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2) Educational qualification: The candidate must have passed Class VIII from a recognized Government Institute or should hold an equivalent degree.
3) Age Limit: The candidate should be aged between 18 years to 40 years. However, this age limit is subject to relaxation for certain reserved categories such as SC, ST and OBC. The age relaxation shall be as per the prevailing Government norms.
4) Driving Licence: The most important factor while considering the eligibility is presence of a driving licence. Each candidate must possess a valid driving license before applying for this recruitment notification.

The Government of Uttarakhand has made it easy for candidates to have the application form. They can apply for the job with the aid of online means. Following the given step will make the online application process easier.
Step- 1 Visit the official website. Type on the address bar and hit enter on the internet browser.
Step 2- Download the application form. Once the form has been downloaded, take a print out of the same.
Step 3- Fill up the form with your detail and put a recent color photograph on the top right hand side of the form. Make sure all your information such as name, address, etc., is as per the official documents that you have.
Step 4- Place the form in an envelope and affix a stamp of INR 40 on it with the address of the respective Division Manager. If you are applying for the Nainital, then give the address of the Division Manager of Nainital only.
Once the post has been sent, you will be updated on the selection process through the website and if you are selected, then your name would also appear in the list of short listed candidates. Thus, getting an invitation for an interview.
