NVS Recruitment 2016 – 329 Teaching Posts: Ministry of Human resource Development, Department of School Education & Literacy, Govt of India, Regional Office, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Chandigarh has given an employment notification for the recruitment of 329 Teaching vacancies on purely contract basis for the academic session 2016 – 2017. Age Limit: Candidate age limit is up to 62 years for retired teachers from Govt controlled institution for Post 1 & 2 & up to 62 years for other Posts as on 30-06-2016.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess MA/ M.Sc/ M.Com with 50% marks/ above and B.Ed for PGTs, Bachelor degree in relevant subject with 50% marks/ above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject during all the years of study & B.Ed for TGTs, 05 years study in Music institution recognized by the concerned State Govt as equivalent to Graduation/ Post Graduation Degree for Post 3, 05 years recognized Diploma in any discipline of Fine Arts as Drawing/ Painting/ Sculpture/ Grap hic Arts/ Crafts after passing Secondary Examination for post 4, Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from a recognized institution for Post 5 & 6, University degree in Library Science for post 7 with relevant experience. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on interview.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their application in prescribed format along with self attested testimonials in support age, qualification, experience, scholastic/ co-scholastic achievements by through registered/ speed post/ in person to the Principal -cum- Chairman of the Vidyalaya Appointment Committee (VAC) of the concerned JNVs of the concerned District on or before 30-06-2016 between 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM on all working days.
